
Cocktails
Cocktails are very easily prepared. When a recipe refers to ‘stirring’, means a long spoon should be used to stir the mixture vigorously (ice should first be added to the glass). Where the recipe refers to ‘shaking’, first put some ice into the cocktail shaker, pour in the necessary ingredients and shake thoroughly. Then strain into glass. Always serve cocktails in a glass which is large enough for a fair measure without filling to the brim.
